Prospectus - Horizon Scanning

1. Course Overview

In a world of rapid change, emerging risks rarely announce themselves. Organisations that thrive are those that can spot early signals, interpret change, and act before challenges escalate. My Horizon Scanning Training equips your teams with the mindset, tools, and techniques to anticipate what’s coming next — and turn uncertainty into strategic advantage.

This highly practical session helps participants develop the skills to identify emerging trends, analyse weak signals, and assess long-term drivers of change. Using real-world examples and tailored scenarios, we show your team how to separate noise from meaningful insight, strengthen strategic conversations, and bring future thinking into everyday decision-making.

Horizon scanning is an essential strategy as part of any good risk management framework, but it’s often overlooked by businesses. Effective Horizon Scanning will make your business more resilient, increase your preparedness for what lies ahead and also enables you to explore opportunities. Participants leave with practical tools, improved confidence, and a sharper understanding of how to anticipate change and prepare for future risks and opportunities.
